Visited my friends and colleagues
on the plantation
the last plums are picked BLOG 026
soon follow apples and pears
we greed each other very warmly
I would like to help with the harvest
and I grow a little wistful,
because I do not work in the fields anymore
(my doctor has enclosed his veto)
Viola and Rute aren’t at the plantation
Viola is in Italy
Rute currently works in the ‚packing‘
I take a few pictures
Mattheus fools around a bit
Papa laughs at the camera

are jolly as well
Lito waves from the tractor
it moves toward closing time
the sun is shining
it isn’t too warm
September air

Later I ride the bike
to a plantation
that is no longer farmed
very old knobby plum trees
stand crouched behind a hedge
in between an old deteriorated house
a rusty stove
an old lawn chair
in tall gras
beautiful silent place
on the island
slowly reclaimed by nature
