Just ran down the street
to the købmand
to buy milk BLOG 004
drink Cola
smoke a cigarette
watch the passing cars
already a habit
Two kilometres away
on foot
I’m the only pedestrians here
steady traffic on the street
the street from A to B
cuts the island in the middle
cars, tractors, mopeds, bikes
and seniors rattle with their tricycles
to somewhere
a killed rabbit
an overrun hedgehog
flat on the side of the street
Under way on foot
I look at the front yards
and miss the colourful flowers
perhaps the soil is
too meagre
perhaps there is no interest
to paint
the bench a glowing blue
and to replant
the old flower box
None of my business…
